Six months into the global pandemic, we continue to be confronted with an ever changing landscape that affects our day to day lives in many ways. As we move into fall with a return to office, return to school and the unknown of a second wave of the virus, it is important that we take time for ourselves and our mental well-being. OAEM is proud to partner with professionals who have volunteered their time to provide you with tips and advice.

Join Yoga Instructor Joanne Preece for a 45 minute Yoga Mental Health Break.

Learning Objectives

  • Provide a brief overview of how yoga practices such as postures, breathing and meditation can benefit your health.
  • Introduce you to yoga through a 20-minute, rejuvenating chair session that incorporates physical practice, attention to breath and a brief meditation.
  • Familiarize you with the range of yoga classes available, so that you can find one that suits your physical ability, health requirements and personal goals.
