The University of Guelph-Humber based in Toronto offers an innovative and unique blend of university and applied education, where students can earn both a degree from the University of Guelph and a college diploma from Humber Polytechnic over four years. Respected degree programs open the doors to multiple career pathways for students into law enforcement, justice services, and law careers. The Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Justice Studies is completed over four years of study and is also open to transfer students from college diplomas who may be eligible to complete within 2 years for eligible candidates from high-affinity programs. The Bachelor of Applied Arts (BAA) specialization in Justice & Public Safety is part-time (online asynchronous) for working professionals with the opportunity to complete within 2 to 2.5 years, where the work experience of public safety and law enforcement professionals is respected through professional equivalence for academic credit.

GREATER TORONTO AIRPORTS AUTHORITY AND THE ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF EMERGENCY MANAGERS ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute (FESTI) and the Ontario Association of Emergency Managers (OAEM) are excited to announce their groundbreaking partnership. Partnering to combine FESTI’s unique, world-class training facilities, and their Corporate Services and Leadership Training program with OAEM’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) offerings, will expand specialized emergency management-related training offerings for diverse public safety personnel across Canada, having shared incident command systems and a common philosophy to lifelong professional education for emergency management.
